One of the most prestigious events in the world of sports after the Olympic Games are the 18th Asian Games. This year the games are going to be held in Indonesia from August 18 to September 2, 2018. This largest and multi-sport competition is organised by the Olympic Council of Asia, once every four years. It will be the very first time that Asian Games will be hosted in two cities, Jakarta and Palembang.

Approximately 10,000 athletes from 45 Asian countries are going to participate and compete for the highest awards in 40 different sports. To mark this huge event Kyrgyz Express Post issued two stamps that are devoted to one of the most important sports like canoeing, swimming, yacht racing, cycling, golf, taekwondo and volleyball. These stamps are designed by Vitaliu Pogalsa.
