Bahawalpur silver rupee listed for INR 15000

Bahawalpur was a Princely State during the British rule in India. Today it is located in the Punjab Provinces of Pakistan. It was ruled by Abbasi family of Nawabs until 1955 CE.Bahawalpur is also known for its rich architectural legacy and monuments which was left their Nawabs. The place also marks an important place of archaeological sites. The region contains the ruins of Indus Valley Civilization, it also has ancient Buddhist sites such as Patan Minara.
This silver Nazarana rupee which was issued by Sadiq Muhammad Khan V weighs around 12.3g. The obverse of the coin is inscribed with the portrait of Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan in Military uniform facing towards left with Persian legend “Ba-Fazlah Taalah Sadiq Mohammed Abbasi Khamis Farman Rawai mamlakat khudadad Bahawalpur. The reverse of the coin is inscribed with ‘Coat of Arms.’
