Gambian 5 Dalasi Banknote of 2015

The Gambia is a small West African country, bounded by Senegal, with a narrow Atlantic coastline. It's known for its diverse ecosystems around the central Gambia River. Abundant wildlife in its Kiang West National Park and Bao Bolong Wetland Reserve includes monkeys, leopards, hippos, hyenas and rare birds. The capital city of Banjul and nearby Serrekunda city offer access to beautiful and serene beaches.The Dalasi is the currency of the Gambia which is subdivided into 100 bututs. Replacing the Gambian pound at a rate of 1 Pound = 5 Dalasis, the Dalasi was adopted in 1971. In 1971, coins in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 Bututs and 1 Dalasi were introduced. Banknotes currently in circulation are 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 Dalasis.
The note we are going to see today was issued in the year 2015. The note specifications are as follows:
Obverse: A Giant Kingfisher is depicted perched in the centre looking right set against traditional designs and leaves. President of the Gambia - Dr Alh. Yahya Abdul-Aziz Jemus Junkung Jammeh (in office: 1994-2017) is to right with the watermark window to left. Text “Central Bank of the Gambia” at the top and divided text of “Promise To Pay on Demand The Sum Of --- Five Dalasi” at the top and right bottom corner. The serial number, signatures of Governor and First Deputy Governor with denominational value in numbers to left.
Reverse: an Agricultural scene depicting cattle herder and palm trees to centre left. The denominational value in words is seen to the left corner and in numbers in three corners. Text “Central Bank Of The Gambia” at the top. Dominant Colour: Red and Orange.
