In order to raise awareness about protecting the environment every year 5 June is celebrated as World Environment Day.

Every year world environment day has a different global host country, where the official celebrations take place. This year it is India!

It is the most important day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Each world Environment day is organized around a theme that focuses attention on a particular pressing environment concern. The theme for 2018 is “Beat Plastic Pollution”.

The theme invites everyone to consider how they can make changes in their daily lives to reduce the heavy burden of plastic pollution on our natural places.

So let us pledge to beat plastic pollution and to make every day World Environment Day!
