Austria’s Green-Coloured Niobium Coin Dedicated to Anthropocene Age

A new ringed-bimetallic .900 fine silver and niobium €25 coin will be released by Austrian Mint on 6th June, marking the Anthropocene Age.Experts have come to the conclusion that the effect of humanity’s increasing footprint on earth is proving to be dangerous in many ways. Anthropocene is the new geologic era that has been termed by these experts, related to this situation.
Humanity’s huge footprint on Earth is represented on both sides of the coin’s two-tone green niobium core. The silver outer ring has detailed elements that represent the adverse effects of nuclear testing, plastic pollution, dangerous emissions by fossil-fuel power stations etc.
The 16.5 grams coin has a Special Uncirculated finish and can be purchased for €64. A 20 percent tax would be imposed in Europe. The coin comes in a case with a numbered certificate of authenticity and a protective slipcase.
