The world’s most largest and powerful Eagle species is featured by a stamp issued by Guernsey Post.The Philippine Eagle is one of the rarest species in the world. It is listed as Critically Endangered with fewer than 500 populations.
The bird has beautiful brown and white feathers and huge bluish black beak and bright yellow eyes.
Located near Normandy, the country Guernsey is famous for its ecological diversities. As a part of Endangered Species series, Guernsey Post issued a £3 worth of stamp that underlines the importance of preserving such animals.
