Jersey Post Commemorates King George V

Jersey Post introduced a special commemorative stamp remembering the visit of King George V to Jersey in 1921.King George V is one of the most honorable and successful rulers of Great Britain. He visited the island of Jersey in 1921. At the time he was only the second reigning monarch to pay an official Royal visit to the Island.
To honour this great personality and to remember his visit, Jersey Post introduced special commemorative stamps, with different denominations of 47pence, 57 pence, 64 pence, 73 pence, 85 pence and 95 pence.
Released along with special First Day Cover, the stamps feature the portraits of the King showing his times since he was an heir apparent to the throne of Great Britain.
