Pushkalavati was the capital of Gandhara Kingdom, current day located in Pakistan. Pushkalavati means ‘lotus city’ in Sanskrit. Zend Avesta considered it as the seventh most beautiful place on earth. This ancient city is also mentioned in the Ramayana.The featured Copper coin is one of the Pushkalavati coins. It has a Swastika on the obverse and it weighs 4.37 grams.
