Architectural Heritage of India Featured on Stamps

The Indian Postal Department features two famous temples of India on stamps in April 11, 2013.The Indian Postal Department recognises the architectural heritage of India by issuing a series of stamps. The 2013 stamps feature two temples in Andhra Pradesh.
The stamp that carries the denomination of Rs.20 features the Arasavalli Temple. The second postal stamp with denomination of Rs. 5 features the Srikurmam Temple.
The stamps are released on the occasion of Ugaadi, the beginning of the Telugu New Year, along with a miniature sheet on heritage of India.
