Tomorrow the world will be celebrating the resurrection of Christ. This day is called as Easter, Pascha (Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday. It is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. The true son of God opened the passage of heaven for humanity through his penance and sacrifice tomorrow. This day also marks the beginning of Christianity.According to the New Testament, this event took place on the third day after Jesus’ crucifixion by the Roman at Calvary in 30 AD. This event is preceded by the forty days of fasting and penance called Lent period. Most Christians also refer the week before Easter as Holy Week, it commences the Maundy Thursday and last supper of Christ with his apostles before Good Friday.
To commemorate the Easter Ramfilatelia, Post of Romania issued a set of two stamps in 2017. It illustrated the crucifixion of the Saviour. The iconography belongs to the Radu Voda Monastery and Saint Joseph cathedral both in Bucharest.
Easter is celebrated by many countries as a public holiday, as it falls on Sunday the adjoining Easter Monday is a public holiday. The most famous tradition of this feast is Easter eggs! It is the symbol of both death and resurrection. The chocolate in a shape of an egg or filled will jelly is the best dish for children and adults.
