This beautiful Silver Square rupee ornamented with floral design will be Auctioned in the upcoming Auction of Oswal.This Silver rupee was issued by Jahangir from the mint Agra during the 6th year of his reign. The obverse of this coin is inscribed as ‘Jahangir Shah Akbar Shah’ within the decorated square. The reverse of the coin is inscribed with the mint name ‘Agra’ and Hijri date 1020 and regnal year 6.
This very rare beautiful silver rupee weighs around 11.1 g. This coin is estimated for INR 1,25,000-1,50,000 in the upcoming Auction of Oswal. The Auction will be held in Mumbai on 21st April 2018.
