International day of happiness

An International day of happiness, it is a day to be cheerful, content and happy. This day is celebrated on 20th March, since 2013 by the United Nations. It is celebrated to recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world.In 2015, to make this event more successful, the UN launched 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These goals seek to end poverty, reduce inequality and protect our planet. It was summarized that these three key aspects lead to the well-being and happiness of an individual.
To celebrate this day UN call’s upon all the people from different age groups and nationality. To mark and promote this event United Nation issued a series of two stamps each from the UN headquarters in New York, Geneva and Vienna.
So let’s celebrate this day by getting together and don’t forget to spread smiles and love.
