15-year-old Indian Collector has a 100-year-old Coin

The youngest numismatic collector in the Amritsar, Anmol Bharti (15), like his name, has preserved some priceless coins which are even a century old.Anmol always had a keen interest in learning about the history in a different way, than just having theoretical knowledge. He believes that stamps and coins are a reflection of any civilization’s history and legacy. He started collecting stamps and notes since he was 10 years old and today his collection today comprises of 200 vintage, rare currency notes and coins, some representing global history.
Some were gifted to him by visiting relatives, others he sourced from collectors in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai and other cities. His collection majorly includes post-Partition era currency, with old and new issues of one-rupee denominations, the currency issued after 1970, and a series of one to 100 rupee notes, which is a rare set. His collection also has a set of 80-year-old coins and foreign currency from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, USA, South Africa and more. He also has an exclusive collection of currency that is over 100 years old.
