Palladium American Eagle Bullion Coin Designs Reviewed

The first American Eagle bullion coin in .9995 palladium will have a face value of $25. The designs will be revealed on 15th March after the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee reviews the proposed designs.The obverse will feature the original Winged Liberty Head dime design by Adolph A. Weinman’s. A Weinman-designed eagle from the reverse of a 1907 American Institute of Architects gold medal will be featured on the reverse. It would be interesting to see the interpretation of older designs with the statutory inscriptions on the reverse design.
Designs for five 2018 World War I Armed Forces silver medals and the Filipino Veterans of World War II congressional gold medal are also being reviewed. The Commission of Fine Arts might review the proposed designs for the American Eagle palladium bullion coin and 2018 World War I Armed Forces silver medals on 16th March.
