The 2015 March of Dimes silver dollar won the Most Inspirational Coin of the Year award at the 2017 World Money Fair in Berlin that was held from 3rd to 5th February. Apart from that, the Best Circulating Coin went to the America the Beautiful quarter celebrating Kisatchie National Forest. Finland also won two awards at the event. Several 2015 coins from all over the world contested for the awards. Coins from Italy, Japan, Canada, Great Britain, Austria and the Cook Islands also won awards from different categories.

The America the Beautiful quarter dollar honouring Kisatchie National Forest was issued for circulation in April 2015. The reverse features a wild flying turkey over bluestem grass with longleaf pine in the background.

The March of Dimes silver dollar was issued in 2015 to honour the 75th anniversary of the March of Dimes Foundation that works towards eradicating polio and protecting children's health. The reverse depicts a sleeping baby in the hand of an adult. The obverse features portraits of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dr. Jonas Salk, two leaders who fought against polio.
