Coins of the Tiffany Art Series issued in 2008 by Palau depict the architectural style termed as ‘Mannerism’ by the 16th century Italian architect, Giorgio Vasari. The term describes the architectural style developed by Michelangelo’s successors between 1550 an 1600 CE.

The obverse depicts the famous Scala Regia of Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola designed by the architect, Vignola (1507-1573 CE). The reverse showcases an insight into Mannerism art and architecture such as Madonna with the Long Neck by Parmigianino (1503 – 1540 CE).

The design on the coin is in high relief with yellow Tiffany glass inlaid into the oval window on each side of the coin.
