US Mint’s 2017 Annual Set Pricing Announced
2016-02-01 Mon
The new pricing for three popular 2017 annual sets has been revealed by the US Mint.2017 Proof Set costs $26.95.
2017 Silver Proof Set costs $47.95.
2017 Mint Set costs $20.95.
Both proof sets have 3 lesser dollars than last year and the pricing has been reduced by $5. The uncirculated mint set has 6 lesser dollars and its pricing has been reduced by $6. The 2006 Silver Proof Set had the same number of coins but was much cheaper. But the 2017 Proof and Mint Sets are each $4 more than those from 2006. Considering the 19.1% inflation in the last decade and that the US Mint has to pay higher for the silver blanks, the revised pricing looks appropriate. The release dates for these annual sets are yet to be revealed.
