Once again the RCB has come out with a very interesting football shaped gold and silver collector coins this month. Modern engraving techniques are used to give the coin a leather-like appearance.

The 99.99% pure silver and gold coins have a face value of $25 and $200 respectively. The obverses feature the common Susanna Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with inscriptions of CANADA, ELIZABETH II, and D G REGINA. The 31.32 grams gold coin has a mintage limit of 550 and the 31.66 grams silver coin has a mintage limit of 8,500.

The silver coin can be purchased for $161.95 Canadian and the gold coin for CAD $2,899.95.
