Queen Elizabeth II's portrait is depicted on the currencies of 33 different countries. She is featured more than any other individual in the world!

Canada was the first to use the British monarch's image, in 1935 and printed the 9-year-old Princess on its $20 notes. Over the years 26 types of different portraits of Elizabeth II have been used in the U.K. and its current and former colonies. Most of the portraits were commissioned only for the purpose of putting them on banknotes.

The Queen is frequently shown in formal crown-and-sceptre attire; although on Canadian and Australian banknotes the Queen is depicted in a plain dress and pearls. Most of the banknote portray the Queen’s growing age however some still show the younger self of the Queen.
