Offerings at the Kunker Fall World Coin Auctions

A large Vatican Collection, European die cutters from the Luc Smolderen Collection, rare Pomeranian coins from the Dr Heinrich Neumann Collection, and fine Roman coins from the Hannelore Scheiner Collection will be up for sale at the Kunker Fall World Coin Auctions which is scheduled from 26th to 30th September.

5,350 lots would be under the hammer with an estimate of 7.7 million euros in total. Antiquity coins modern coins, pre-1871 German coins and world coins would be offered at the auction.

Auction 280 would feature 1,000 coins from the ancient world: Celtic, Greek, Roman, and Byzantine coins, Migration Period and the Middle East coins. An extremely fine Syracusan decadrachm by engraver Kimon has an estimate value of 100,000 euros. An extremely fine Siculo-Punic shekel featuring flying Pegasus has an estimate value of 75,000 euros. Rare pieces from the Thraco-Macedonian and Scythian regions will also be auctioned like the gold stater from Chersonesos 85 BC which has an estimate value of 20,000 euros.
