The Royal Canadian Mint issued, the fourth coin in the Landscapes of the North series named “2016 Canada’s Vast Prairies $200 for $200 Fine Silver Coin”, with a face value and sale value of $200.

The 99.99% pure silver matte proof coin weighs 62.69 grams and has a mintage limit of 25,000. The beautiful 360-degree reverse design celebrates Canada’s prairies and includes flora and fauna from that region. Other inscriptions include CANADA, 200 DOLLARS, 2016, and the artist Normandin’s initials. The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth with inscriptions ELIZABETH II and D G REGINA.
