Canadian Coin Design Inspired by Iconic Photograph by Adam Hill

Adam Hill clicked a photograph of float planes on the Mackenzie River in Fort Simpson last year. The beautiful imagery is now going to be featured on $10 coin Canadian coins to mark the country’s 150th anniversary. The coin would b e released in December.Adam Hill was extremely delighted and surprised when he got to know that one of his works is going to be honoured in such a special way. He stated that it’s a dream-come-true for any artist to get his work displayed in a gallery or in a collection of books. Adam Hill waited for hours to get that perfect click.
The Royal Canadian Mint and Canadian Geographic are collaborating to produce a coin-set of 13 coins, featuring imagery inspired by photographs from the magazine.
