The Paisa or Zohra of #TipuSultan weighs around 10.8 g- 12.5 g.The obverse features an elephant and date, but the coins from #Pattan and #Nagar mint issued from the Mauludi year 1221 to 1223 have the additional word 'Mauludi' written over an #elephant.
Tipu Sultan issued this #copper #paisa, minted in Pattan in the Mauludi year 1222. The obverse features an elephant facing to the right, the #Persian word 'Mauludi', and the Mauludi date over an elephant. The reverse is inscribed with "Zohra Zarb Pattan."
