Parshvanath Bhagwan Commemorative Coins

Parshvanath Bhagwan was the 23rd of the 24 Tirthankaras in Jainism and is recognized as a major propagator and reviver of the faith.He is particularly known for his teachings on non-violence, truth, non-stealing, and non-possession. Parshvanath attained moksha at Mount Sammed Shikhar in Madhuban, Jharkhand, which is a revered site for Jains.
For the first time in the History of Republic India coinage, India Mint issued two coins simultaneously commemorating the single individual denominated at ?900 for the 2900th Janma Kalyanak(Birth anniversary) and another of ?800 for the 2800th Nirvana Kalyanak(Death Anniversary) of Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan.
Both coins are minted in pure silver (99.99%), measuring 44mm in diameter and weighing 40 grams, with 200 serrations on the edge.
