Chinchvad, a village in Haveli taluka, Pune district, is famous for its shrine to the god Ganapati. A mint was established in Chinchvad in the late 18th century and operated in partnership with Peshwa's government and Shri Deva, the pontiff of Chinchvad Monastery.
