On 28th June 1995, Madhya Pradesh was designated as the Tiger State to protect the Endangered animal from Poachers and Attackers.This stamp features the Bandhavgarh National Park in the Tiger State of the Nation.
India Post has issued various stamps on the National Animal to commemorate the significance of the Tiger in the ecosystem being on top of the Food Chain.
