Tipu Sultan's copper 2 Paisa, also called Othmani (23.33g), Dar ul Sultanate Patan mint, sold for INR 1,50,000 in an auction held in Mumbai on October 8, 2023.The obverse features an Elephant facing left uplifting trunk, a flag above the elephant, and Mauludi year 1220 (retro) written near the tail within a double line circle with a row of dots.
The reverse of the coin features Othmani Pattan Zarb Dar-ul-Sultanate.
