Singapore is a sovereign island country located in Southeast Asia. The Monetary Authority of Singapore issued various coins in different denominations, including this one Singapore cent. They are part of the First Coin Series. The Singapore dollar is officially the currency of the Republic of Singapore.The obverse has a denomination at the centre with two rice stalks curved around with a date. The Reverse illustrates the Fountain in front of the high-rise flatblock. Singapore one cent was issued in 1973.
