The Central Bank of Nicaragua was established on September 16, 1960. The Cordoba is the official currency of Nicaragua. Cordoba is the basic monetary unit of Nicaragua. The Central Bank of Nicaragua of 10 Cordoba was issued in 2015.The obverse depicts Puerto Rico allende Managua in the banknote. Reverse has portrayed Fiestas Patronales de Managua dancer. The banknote has the logo of the Republica de Nicaragua- America Central. On both sides of the 10 Cordoba, palm trees are depicted. The script is in Latin.
