Swami Dayanand Saraswati, also known as Maharshi Dayanand, was born in a Brahmin family in Tankara, Gujarat. He was an Indian philosopher, social leader, and leader of the Vedic Dharma Reform Movement. He was the founder of the Arya Samaj. He accepted the teachings of the first ten Principal Upanishads also with Shvetashvatara Upanishad. Denomination: 15 nP.
