The National Bank of Belgium printed Belgian Franc banknotes in 12 denominations, including this 1000 Belgian Franc banknote (Constant Permeke). They are part of the Belgian Franc banknote series. The National Bank of Belgium began printing these 1,000 Belgian Franc banknotes in 1997.The obverse depicts portrait of Constant Permeke, a Belgian painter and sculptor, is on the note of mille francs - duizend frank. Nationale bank van Belgi is written in the banknote's caption.The series of banknote was during 1994- 2001. Serge Bartholomé - Alfons Verplaetse signed the banknote. The stamp size was 154 x 76 mm. The denomination is 1,000 fr, which is equivalent to one Belgian franc.
