The Reserve Bank of Australia issued this Australian 5 Dollar featuring Sir Henry Parkes on the obverse side.Sir Henry Parkes was a colonial Australian Politician and a dominant political figure in Australia during the second half of the 19th century. Often he is called the father of the Australian federation; due to his early promotion to the alliance of the six colonies of Australia. Australia issued Australian banknotes in six different denominations, including a 5 Australian Dollars banknote. The banknotes issued in 2001 are still in circulation.
The obverse side of this 5 Dollars features Sir Henry Parkes and the reverse side of this banknote features Catherine Helen.
