An exquisite collection of 12 gold coins dating from 561BC to 135BC are being showcased at the London’s Kallos Gallery till the end of July. These coins have been collected by Lorne Thyssen-Bornemisza, a specialist in Greek antiques. The best out of the lot is a 394-350BC gold stater of Lampsakos, which is one of the only two examples which exist today. The coin features a portrait of Athena on one side, and Pegasus, the winged horse on the other. It is priced at £150,000.

A 13 metres long manuscript in Latin depicts the succession and family tree of England’s kings from Adam to Edward of Westminster. The manuscript is embellished with six miniatures, nine coats of arms and hundreds of coloured roundels with gold crowns. This rare collectible is being offered during 25th anniversary celebrations of manuscripts expert Sandra Hindman’s opening of Les Enluminures in Paris. This item is priced at $650,000.
