One of India’s biggest superstars, Rajnikanth is all set to dazzle the silver screen again in his latest movie Kabali which will be released all over tomorrow, 22nd July. A special aircraft will fly fans from Bangalore to Chennai just for the screening, first day first show. India post will issue a “Special carried cover” to mark this flight.

It is a tradition to carry special covers along whenever a new flight is launched. The Air Asia aircraft is the first Cine Flight of India which would fly exclusively between Bangalore and Chennai on this eventful occasion. Such special covers have a lot of significance in the world of Philately.

The cover, with postmarks of Bengaluru and Chennai Airport post offices, will be sent by Postmaster General Bengaluru and addressed to Postmaster General Chennai City Region.

Philatelic Bureau Bengaluru GPO and Anna Road Head Post Office, Chennai would also offer a limited edition of these special covers for sale.
