50th Anniversary commemorative stamp of Manipur

Manipur, a little Shangarila located in North-East India, is also a Jewel of India. Manipur observed its 50th Statehood day on 21st January at 1 Manipur Rifles Ground in Imphal. To commemorate the golden jubillee of statehood of Manipur, a postal stamp was released by the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh.Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his speech that it was because of the region’s talented youth, the Union Government had started the construction of the national sports university in Manipur.
Also an intolerance policy for bribes and black money was introduced during the ceremony. Least touched and least discovered Manipur promises to be the great tourist discovery of the 21st century
