Kahna National Park is the tiger reserve of India and the largest national park in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Kanha National Park is located in the city of Maikal Hills of the Satpuras, spreading over two districts - Mandla and Balaghat.

The administration of this national park is the best in India. The national park host animals such as the Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, sloth bear, barasingha and dhole. The national park is the first tiger reserve in India officially introduce a mascot Bhoorsingh the Barasingha. Kanha National park was created on 1 June 1955 and was designated a tiger reserve in 1973. In 1879 this forest was declared a reserve forest; later, in 1933, it was evaluated as a wildlife sanctuary. In 1955 Kahna National Park, was upgraded into a national park.
