Brunei's 500-Ringgit note

The Brunei dollar has been the currency of the Sultanate of Brunei since 1967. It is normally abbreviated with the dollar sign, or alternatively, BDollar Sign to distinguish it from other dollar-denominated currencies.Monetary Authority of Brunei Darussalam started issuing these 500 Brunei Dollar banknotes in 2006. The obverse of the banknotes features Sultan Hassan al-Bolkiah I at the right and java tea flowers at the center.
The reverse on the other hand features the Bolkiah mosque. Named after Hassanal Bolkiah, the 29th and current Sultan of Brunei, the Bolkiah mosque is located in Barangay Kalanganan II in Cotabato City. It is also the third-largest mosque in Southeast Asia and is the second-largest mosque in the Philippines.
