2016-03-14 Mon

A one of its kind and the first of its kind initiative has been launched by Child Focus & communication agency called #coinsofhope not only in social media, but also in real life. The coins have become so popular that they are crossing the eurozone boundaries as per official reports.

One million €2 coins depicting a portrait of a missing child named Liam Vanden Branden was released on 25th May which is celebrated as International Missing Children’s Day. The campaign will continue as the coins keep circulating. The idea is to make people who receive the coin think about the fate of missing people. The campaign was also accepted well on social media.

Liam Vanden Branden went missing twenty years ago when he was two years old and is the youngest child to remain missing in Belgium.

The campaign also allows you to create customized coins of hope with a photo of your choice. This would be crucial for raising awareness and sharing information about missing individuals. Also with the help of social media campaigns, the possibility of finding these missing individuals becomes even easier. You can also make donations or become volunteers in an effort to find the missing individuals.
