Toorji Ka Jhalra is a stepwell of Jodhpur built in 1740 by the queen of Maharaja Abhaya Singh. The historical stepwell is a perfect example of primordial creation and the beautiful imagination of the past era.

Toorji Ka Jhalra is one of the few remaining structures depicting the traditional water management systems of Jodhpur. Toori ka Jhalra is one of the most impressive wells and a relic of Jodhpur’s architectural history. Toorji Ka Jhalra is 250 years old; it is made up of rose-red sandstone found in Jodhpur.

The commemorative Toorji Ka Jhalra was issued by the Indian government in 2017.
