State Arizona is one of the states of the United States of America; situated in the north-western region of the United States of America. Arizona is the 6th largest state and 14th most popular state amongst the 50 states of the United States of America. The capital of this state is phoenix. State Arizona shares its border with state Utah in the north, Colorado in the northeast, New Mexico to the east, and Nevada and California to the west.

Good soil quality, plenty of irrigation water, and a long growing season make Arizona produce cotton, alfalfa, and a variety of grains, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Arizona is one of the country’s leading producers of cotton. Arizona also produces citrus and also plays an important role in increasing the state's economy. The country also produces wine and has been successful in growing several varietal grapes.

Today on February 14, 1912, State Arizona became the 48th state in the Union.
