Charles Robert Darwin was an English naturalist, geologist; the biologist has popularly known for his Theory of Evolution. The Theory of Evolution founded by him is widely accepted and considered a fundamental concept in science.Charles Darwin published his theory of evolution with compelling evidence in his 1859 book On the Origin of Species. The government of Indian issued this commemorative stamp to commemorate the Death Centenary in 1983.
