Today Vietnam Declare Independence from France in 1945

On 2nd September 1945, Ho Chi Minh declared the independence of Vietnam from France. Vietnam had been a French colony during World War II. Japan seized control of Vietnam and allowed French officials and troops to administer the country. When Japan surrender during WWII; Vietnamese communist Ho Chi Minh declared its independence of Vietnam; from France.

On 2nd September 1945, communist Ho Chi Minh declares the independence of his nation, he began his speech with the U.S Declaration of Independence declaring “All men are created equal. They are endowed by their Creator, with certain inalienable rights; among them are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
