The Financial Authority of Singapore issued Singapore Dollar banknotes in 10 different denominations, including this 2 Singapore Dollars banknote. The Financial Authority of Singapore started issuing these 2 Singapore Dollar banknotes in 2006. They are currently still in circulation.

This two dollars banknote shows the portrait of EncikYusof bin Ishak, 1st president of Singapore. There is a paper and polymer plastic version of the banknote. The Dollar 2 note contains the word ‘Singapore’. The backside of the $2 bill features children attending classes at the Victoria Bridge School.
