Sane Guruji Commemorative Stamp

Pandurang Sadashiv Sane is also known as Sane Guruji; he was a Marathi author, social activist, and freedom fighter from Maharashtra. He is also referred to as the National Teacher of India. He is famously acknowledged for his book ‘Shyamchi Aai’ all over India. He was a student of Philosophy, a powerful speaker, and he loves teaching.He wrote many poems and stories. The teacher turned freedom fighter graduated with a degree in Sanskrit and Marathi and further completed a master’s degree in Philosophy despite the severe financial crunch troubling him throughout his student life. He got arrested for his political activities and spent around 15 months in Nasik jail.
This commemorative stamp of Sane Guruji was issued by the Government of India to commemorate him and his work.
