Cleopatra VII was an Egyptian Queen; she is well known in History and drama as a lover of Julius Caesar and later as the wife of Mark Antony. She was one of the most famous female rulers in History.

Cleopatra VII was part of the Macedonian dynasty that ruled Egypt during the late 4th Century BC. Cleopatra sat on the throne of Egypt; after the death of her father, Ptolemy VII, in 51 B.C. and ruled successively with her two brothers Ptolemy XIII and Ptolemy XIV, and her Son XV Caesar. Cleopatra ruled an empire that includes Egypt, Cyprus, part of modern-day Libra, and other territories in the Middle East. She was most beautiful, intelligent, and a clever politician. After sitting on the throne of Egypt, she brought prosperity and peace to the county that was bankrupt and split by civil war.
