2016 $25 True North Silver Coin to Be Sold For Its Face Value

2016 $25 True North Silver Coin will be sold for its legal tender face value by the Royal Canadian Mint. The coin, designed by Canadian artist Trevor Tennant, features the majestic polar bear and the noble maple leaf. Other inscriptions include ‘CANADA 2016’, ‘FINE SILVER 9999 ARGENT PUR’ and ‘25 DOLLARS’. The obverses depict the common portrait of the Queen with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II and D G REGINA.The mintage is limited to 250,000 and the coin can be purchased from Royal Canadian Mint’s online store in a protective pouch on a display card with specifications and a certificate of authenticity.
