Princely State Kishangarh Gold Mohur Listed For INR 70,000

Kishangarh was the Princely State during the British rule in India, located in the center of Rajputana. Princely State Kishangarh was founded by Prince Kishan Singh, in the year 1609. Before Kishan Singh, this state was also ruled; by Maharaja Samokhan Singh, a distant relative of Kishan Singh. This Princely State came under British dominance by the treaty concluded in the year 1818 and, later it became the part of state Rajasthan in the year 1948 CE.

This gold that weighs around 10.92g; was issued by king Yagyanarain in the name of British ruler King Geroge V during this rule in Princely State Kishangarh. The coins of Princely State Kishangarh were first issued in the name of the Mughal Emperor and later British rulers. This coin is on the list for INR 70,000; in the upcoming auction of electronic auction of Todywalla that will take place on 8th August; 2021.
