This silver tanka was issued by Nasir Al-Din Ahmad Shah of Gujarat Sultanate. He ruled the Gujarat Sultanate from 1411 CE until his death in 1442 CE. The weight of this silver tanka is around 11.40g and it was issued by him during his rule in Gujarat Sultanate.The obverse side of this silver tanka is inscribed as ‘Al-Sultan Al-Azam Nasir Al-Dunya Wa’l Din Abul Fath’. The reverse side of this coin is inscribed as ‘Ahmad Shah Bin Muhammad Shah Bin Muzaffar Shah Khulidat Khilafatahu’ within a square, date written in the margin.’
