A special stamp dedicated to Luxembourg involvement in space research projects. The country is recognised as a leader in the space programme today. This stamp was designed by the Polish artist; it is one of the countries with which Luxembourg has signed the ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ for joint collaboration of space projects.The space industry in the country has boomed in the last three decades. Today, the country is home not only too global satellite operator SES but also to around 30 other highly advances technology companies. This initiative is based on the experience that Luxembourg has built up in a sector closely connected to space resources particularly with a strong track record in the satellite sector.
