5 Ruble Banknote of Tajikistan

Tajikistan is a landlocked and smallest country in Central Asia. Dushanbe is the largest city and capital of the country. The country is bordered by Afghanistan to the south, Uzbekistan to the west, Kyrgyzstan to the north and China to the east. Tajikistan became an independent state on 9th September 1991. Tajikistan means the "Land of the Tajiks". This region witnessed the Samanid Empire, Bukharan Rule, Tsar Empire and part of the Soviet Union. Majorly, the region is covered by mountains of the Pamir range. There are 2 official languages which are Russian and Tajik.The Tajikistan 5 ruble was issued in the year 1994 and is available only for One hundred and fifty rupees. The obverse of the 5 Ruble shows the National emblem of Tajikistan and design. And the reverse of the note features the Flag of Tajikistan over the parliament. The legends on the note are, “National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan, Five Rubles, to counterfeit the banknotes of the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan is punishable by law, Five Rubles”.
